BTW you're smart having your own blog. Just before getting banzored from Homelessforums, I re-read the shit homelessrob was sending me and it turns out I mis-read it. I thought he'd said "I will ruin your life" which of course is a TOS violation, instead he'd written "iT will ruin your life" which is simply an opinion, and really, nothing. I tried emailing the site owner to explain what happened and said I'd apologize to homelessrob in a public thread, and my email was bounced!
I'd tried to edit most of my content off of there but didn't do a thorough job. Luckily from my viewpoint, the people who want to get out of being homeless come there and then they go. The long-timers are not interested in anything but being homeless as a profession, and this is why the self-respecting types tend to eventually get fed up and leave. It's really by and for "the homeless" not those passing through and once you've moved on, you're not really all that welcome there. I was getting sick of posting stuff on how to get small businesses started like crafts etc and the posts just getting ignored. Flying a sign? They're all ears. Learning to professionally paint signs? Fuhgeddaboutit.
I dunno what happened to Milky Way. Since I don't have his email I have to assume he's dead. RIP Milky, your heart was in the right place.
I discovered this site because I was reading up on BUSKING, which is DOING something, not homelessness. Professional homelessness is boring as hell.
